EBBC on Mission

Adopt a Bull Dog

East Barbourville recognizes that we are a college town and we try to build relationships on Union’s campus that will allow us to share the gospel with those who need Christ.

Through our Adopt a Bull Dog outreach families within our church are able to select a men’s or women’s basketball player from the college that they will commit to pray for, help, and encourage during the school year.

Handicap Wheel Chair Ramps

East Barbourville has a long history of building ramps for those who need them. Typically we receive 2-3 requests for a ramp each year.

OCC Shoe Boxes

In the fall of the year our families begin to gather items to place inside of shoe boxes that are then sent around the world through the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.

This ministry is known nationwide as Operation Christmas Child. The shoe boxes provide an opportunity for the gospel to be shared far and wide with those who have never heard the name of Jesus.

Short Term Mission Trips

Jesus said that the fields are white unto harvest but the laborers are few. Therefore, we are praying for God to send forth more laborers into the field.

As such we have began sending members on short term mission trips to various places around the world. Recent trips have included Alaska, Africa, and Haiti. If you feel that God is leading you to go on a mission trip but aren’t sure where to start be sure and speak with Pastor Josh.
